The situation

An IT firm with more than 500 people wanted to lead its industry and grow to 1,000. It had no performance management system. Spans and layers overloaded managers, and there was too little focus on people, process and tools. Attrition was above 30%, and employees did not feel aligned with the brand.

What we did

  • Introduced a performance management system with clear objectives, regular feedback and semi-annual reviews.
  • Restructured spans and layers for a more efficient organisation.
  • Gave people a structured platform for performance, learning and development.

The result

  • Attrition fell from over 30% to 14% in nine months.
  • Performance and job satisfaction improved.
  • The firm attracted stronger talent, and leaders gained confidence in winning clients.
